For marketplace sellers reviewing rival price moves
See the rival price that moved, the prior baseline, and the page behind it.
Supply competitor product links, the SKUs they correspond to, and the market and currency to compare. RivalTape returns a dated change list with source evidence and leaves your own pricing decision untouched.

baseline · move · source capture — never a repriceTHREE RAILS PLUS THE CLIP
Targets, baseline, and changes stay on separate rails.
For SEA marketplace sellers who need a dated view of rival prices before changing their own listings.

HOW A MOVE GETS ON THE TAPE
A number without the page is not a comparable change.
A rival page can change price, discount wording, pack size, availability, or markup without notice. A number copied into a spreadsheet loses the page state and timestamp needed to decide whether the move is real or comparable.
- 01
You provide the rival URLs, SKU mapping, target market, and the details that make each listing comparable.
- 02
RivalTape records a baseline only when it can identify deterministic price and currency evidence on the supplied page.
- 03
Later observations are compared with that baseline and separated from variant, pack-size, and promotion noise.
- 04
You receive a cited change ledger to review before making any decision about your own prices.
A dated baseline of the observed rival prices for each mapped product
A change list showing the previous and current observed value
A source capture and timestamp beside every reported observation
A review queue for blocked pages, unknown currencies, and listings that no longer compare cleanly
WHAT YOU FEED THE TAPE
Like-for-like starts with the mapping you confirm.
Marketplace and ecommerce operators that know which rival listings are comparable to their own products and need a dependable record before changing price or promotion strategy.
- 01
Competitor product URLs that are public and permitted to review
- 02
A mapping from each rival listing to the product or SKU you consider comparable
- 03
The target marketplace, market, and currency for each comparison
- 04
Any pack-size, variant, promotion, or tax details needed for like-for-like review
THE PRICE LINE YOU KEEP
RivalTape organizes evidence. It does not write your prices.
Build a competitor baseline from product links, separate real price moves from noise, and keep the source capture beside every change.
It does not
- Automatically changing your store prices or promotion rules
- Treating visually similar listings as comparable without a confirmed SKU, variant, or pack-size mapping
- Expecting collection from private, blocked, or structurally unreadable marketplace pages
- Replacing the merchant who evaluates margin, inventory, brand, and channel consequences
Before you act
- Marketplace pages can change or block collection, so each captured price needs review.
- Pricing decisions remain with the merchant; this workspace only organizes evidence.

Questions
What do I need to start monitoring?
Provide the public competitor URLs, the product or SKU each one maps to, the target market and currency, and any variant or pack-size detail needed for a fair comparison.
What counts as a price change?
A change is reported when a new deterministic price observation differs from the saved baseline for the same mapped listing and currency. Ambiguous pages stay in the review queue.
Can RivalTape update my own prices?
No. It organizes competitor evidence and changes. Your team keeps control of pricing, promotions, and every commerce write.
What happens when a marketplace blocks the page?
The page is reported as unresolved rather than carrying forward a guessed price. The last valid baseline remains dated and distinguishable from the failed observation.
What evidence comes with a reported move?
Each reported move includes the listing, observation time, prior and current values, currency, and the captured source state used for the comparison.
